On 27th February 2018, Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board (KNEB) on behalf of International Atomic Energy Agency donated a breast board to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH). KNEB C.E.O Eng. Collins Juma handed over the breast board to KNH C.E.O Lilly Koros Tare at their offices in Upper Hill. Also present during the handover ceremony was KNH’s Director corporate services, Director Supply chain among other senior officials at the Hospital.
Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board staff Mr. Brian Nyawinda was feted for an outstanding concept for a sustainable future project in the just concluded 19th World Festival of youth and students held in October 2017 in Sochi, Russia. The festival brought together youths from all over the world who were tasked to come up a project that will solve a problem the world in the future.

The critical role of a legal and regulatory framework in a nuclear power programme was the key message by the Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board during the 2017 annual Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Conference, which was held between 23rd to 27th August 2017 at the Leisure Lodge Beach & Golf Resort in Kwale County.
The Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board wishes to inform our stakeholders the appointment of Eng. Collins Juma as the Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board with effect from 1st August 2017 following a competitive recruitment process.
Eng. Collins Juma, has been the Acting chief Executive officer since 22nd December, 2015. He previously served as Director, Technical Affairs at KNEB in the past four years. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Mechanical) from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Masters degree in Operations Management from the University of Nairobi.
